Vanuatu Aquatics held it’s first ever competition at the Blue Lagoon in Eton on 25 May 2016.
There was a great turn out to the competition with 8 clubs racing in 31 events. Swimmers had an in-water start and raced down the crystal blue lagoon in heats of 4 to the finish.
A bigfala tankiu to Azure Water for keeping swimmers and officials hydrated throughout the day, Vila Distribution for their continued support for all the federations activities and the kastom land owners at the Blue Lagoon. A big tankiu as well to all the parents who volunteered with timing and officiating!
Individual race results from the event are below. Please note that times are not accurate as there was only 1 timer present in each lane and only some DQ rules were enforced during the meet:
We will schedule another interclub competition this year before the National Championships in November.
